what we're up to

aspen is in preschool & loving it. Her teacher is Ms. Micki, she is our wonderful & talented friend, whom I am so grateful for is teaching aspen. aspen has truly enjoyed going to school.

their first day of school at snack time the celebrated aspen's birthday, she was to bring a treat of her choice to share with the class. So of course she chose capri suns, oreos & of course suckers. aspen is obsessed with suckers!

 we put them into these cute little green  polka dot bags, it was so fun!

Ms. micki;  "Abby,
Just a few thoughts I wrote down about Aspen.  She has a great concentration for building things and putting them together.  She is very creative with what she builds.  She is quiet and caring, and loves to sit on my lap. She loves to cut and loves practicing it.  She loves being together with friends.  She likes to be where the action is. She is very good at taking turns even if she does things out of order, she is willing to wait. I've enjoyed having he in preschool.

and here is our little princess. she is also doing ballet. oh but mind you this picture was taken during the summer while in utah. the one class she went to. I can't get  her to dance out here.  we sit and watch her other friends have fun & dance. and then when it's time to go aspen finally feels like joining in. then she comes home & dances around the house, doing almost everything she learned. she is such a stinker, but I am not giving up! she LOVES to dance!

missing this gal. my mom came out here last week to visit & help me out a bit. it went by way too fast. I miss her already & wished she could have stayed longer! i love her & miss her so much. I know I am lame, & a mama's girl. plus she is wearing my glasses that I am waiting for to come! can't wait!! she's going to hurt me when she sees I posted this pic! love ya Juids!

this was taken in Utah over the summer, chase is a lot bigger & has some teeth! our camera is broken so trying to figure out how to get the pics downloaded. But he is so cute had to throw one in of our little guy!

and this is what dave has been doing for the last 6 weeks, only one more left, yeah! he has been down in belington, wv doing his rural rotation. I miss him & it's lame not having him around. But he has been LOVING it, so that makes me so, so happy. tuesday he told me as he was driving down there he almost hit a black bear! crazy!! unfortunately this is not one of dave's patients although he sees some and a lot with less teeth than this. I believe this was a patient of nate's, dave's younger brother down in KY. he shared this awesome pic with us. all gold crowns.....booooya!

this would be me reminiscing on old adventures & looking for some motivation! this is my dad, brother schaffor & I at the top of the grand teton in teton national park. it was so scary being that exposed, but so amazingly awesome! I climbed this  the same month I met david & we started dating. I think we need to climb it together! and yes, I know I look like a nerd, we had been climbing since 3:00 that morning.
