| i know I am a little late, but on aug. 24th my world changed forever! my sweetest little aspen tree was born. |

| i can't tell you how thrilled I was to have my daughter. |

| while in Utah we were lucky enough to celebrate aspen's birthday a week early so we could share this day with her family. (we also decided to celebrate chase's as well.) |

| we were so lucky to be able to have her party in my sister-in-law's grandmother's backyard in the mountains at the mouth of our lovely little cottonwood canyon. here is aspen getting ready to blow out her candles! |

| side note. dave did this race in utah called the ulcer. a 100 mile bike ride around utah lake. he & his brother did it in 5 hours & 45 min with stops for water included. I was so proud of him!!! this is us at the finish line. they changed quick! |

Love that you are posting a bunch, yeah. Also love at the bottom you but josh and Dave's sister Kim. Typo. Anyhow sad we are never able to be there for any of Aspens parties. Uggh! Happy Birthday Aspen and Happy Birthday Chase, coming this week! Post more please!

No wonder Aspen loved the Hello Kitty puzzle I got out for playtime today. Looks like she had a grand time. 100 miler--way to go.
