a glimpse of our sweet daddy's rural rotation

belington west virginia. this is where dave did his rural rotation for 7 weeks.
the dental office is in the small white house & then david was lucky enough to stay in the wood condo behind.

just kidding. this is the dental office. it is two houses combined.

this really is where dave stayed. he was offered the room in the house, but us johnson's we prefer the trailer life. it was really nice in there. we were so grateful to dr. milem for letting him, me & the kids (only twice) stay there.

this is where dave hung out every night. dr. milem set up this little play area for aspen & chase the day we spent there.  he was so kind. I was ready to head home, but he insisted we stay & join his family for dinner.

a little peak of part of his lab

dave's chair at the office.

me & the kids couldn't stay at the office all day, we had to go exploring.

was hoping to get this little guy to sleep, apparently not successful.

was hoping to keep her awake.

true rural west virginia

if you think about it, it's actually quit brilliant..........you can lift weights, swim & watch your kids at the same time. awesome, a perfect way to get a decent workout.

this is laural hill. one of the first battles of the civil war.

we enjoyed our selves.

they just happen to have a johnson street. i think it's a sign.(i know what your thinking) are we suppose to stay in belington?

back at the office. chase figuring out new ways to climb & get onto things.

successful. little stinker.

that's right. it was a rough day of trying to keep the kids occupied. man I really wish I could have taken that chair home with me.

we had a great time & are so grateful to dr. milem. he was a very generous man. david LOVED his being on his rural rotation. he was bummed to come back to school, he truly  enjoy working with dr. milem & his staff. we are so happy to have him home.

HAha!! This post seriously had me laughing out loud.... especially the workout picture. It is so SO beautiful there. Don't you just love the east? hey, I wonder how far apart we are now that I live in Virginia. We should figure that out and see if we can't get together one of these days-you know, if we're not in completely opposite directions :) I'm glad your hubby had a great rotation!

Man someone was on one when they wrote this, quite the little comedian you are! Looks sorta... fun. No really though, its fun to go explore some place you have never been... and will never go back!

I sort of have a crush on Aspen's cheeser face.

Miles says: That's Aspen Mom!! She is my best girl!

Ok so I am seriously laughing so hard right now! You are too funny. I see that it was you outside lifting those weights so that when Dave came home from his rural West Virginia job you would tell him you had some fun yourself! OK I am still laughing. Maybe it is because I got no sleep last night or you should be proud of yourself for making me laugh for soooo long!
