That's right my friends, we made it through the move. And it went better than I thought it would! Just to give you an idea of how bad we were itching to move......this is what we have beem looking at for the last 4 days we were here.
Mylan has been dumping over in the empty lot next to us. Oh what a delight! Dump trucks coming at like 7:00 in the morning and my favorite is when it was cold and they needed to warm the trucks up so they would leave them running for an hour. It was so LOUD and really annoying. Then on Monday when our movers came to get our shed they started dumping crap on our property! I was so ticked, because we had to pay $50.00 for lot rent for three days! Come on!

Yep, and it finally came, moving day! They had the coolest machinery! The little yellow gadget was totally powered by remote control and that is what held our little trailer. It had a 160 degree radius turn and was pretty much the thing that saved our trailer from all the cracks it could have had in the ceiling and what not.
They would lift it up and then take out more cinder blocks.
Here we go!

Are you serious!? Yes, these are the thoughts going through my mind as our trailer is pulled away and heading on to the more busy streets.
Here are our new neighbors out watching the big event. Thanks again to Liz and Amy for helping me with Aspen! You have no idea how much that saved us!

And I just had to throw this one in because our little Aspen tree is just so dang cute!!!!Well, there you have it my friends. Pretty crazy to have the same home and wake up in a new place. Aspen LOVES it here, there are friends, dogs, cats you name it. Friday morning we opened our blinds and our neighbor across the street came out to put her garbage away and Aspen ran to the window waving and saying "hi,hi!!" She LOVES it!!
Thanks again to everyone who helped us out during this big event in our lives! The meals, the warm beds and of course watching Aspen for us helped so much and we really appreciate it!!! We owe ya!!

that's the craziest thing i've ever seen, it didn't even click to me that once you move the mobile home into a lot, that you can actually move it again! I guess hence the name mobile home right?? haha
That is the coolest move ever!! You will always remember this time! So glad it went smoothly!

I love seeing your pics of the move. Will you post some photos of your new location, up and down your neighborhood, so we can get a feel for where you are. Maybe one from Grant's home looking at yours and visa versa. We want to see where Aspen is looking for her friend in the mornings. I'm glad things went so smooth. Abby, you did a great job lining up the contractors and you get the credit for the easy move, Dave gets the credit for the grunt work. Good job, both of you. xoxo mom j.

Okay so that is so crazy to think that they just picked your house up and moved it somewhere. That is kinda cool. We need to hang out sometime too. Cute picture of Aspen. What a fun personality she has. I love it!!!
