Gotta love the holidays

Last week we went down to Kentucky to visit and celebrate Thanksgiving with Dave's little brother Nate, his cute wife Mallory, the darling new addition, baby Sage, Mallory's mom and also little brother Dane.  We had such a great time and miss you guys already. Here's what we did; (and of corse the pics are out of order so bare with me)
Nana Johnson came to see the new baby and help Mall out. We were fortunate enough to spend two days with her. Aspen loved following her around and helping her out. They also both have quit the move, they would dance all over the house, it was so cute.
She helped load and unload the dishwasher.
Aspen LOVES her new cousin baby Sage. She kept saying "baby".... all week.
We were also lucky to visit with some good friends. Alyssa and Jay Brimhall, Alyssa and I went to Jr. high and Highschool together. She and her husband are there for Dental school as well, although Jay is a year ahead of Nate. They have been good friend to them, thanks guys! Also they just welcomed a new baby girl, Bentley, she is darling and has so much beautiful dark hair. CONGRATS!
Aspen is also super obsessed with her other little cousin (the dog) Atlas. They were good little buddies, they would chase eachother around the house. Atlas was a good sport.

Early Christmas present from Nana Johnson.  Princess Barbies!!! I think Mom was more excited than then Aspen!

Also we had to get a pic with Santa. Yeah didn't go so well and in order to get a picture with our camera and not pay like $30 bucks we had to stand outside of the ropes to get a pic. Than Santa wouldn't even look at our camera! LAME! Well, as you can see Aspen was not too stoked on this guy. But she got really cute raindeer antlers!

Here is Sage, so cute!
Our little fam on Thanksgiving!
Mallory being a good Mommy!

Nate made a fabulous dinner, I offered to help, but he wouldn't let me! But he made a mean turkey!! Thanks again Nate it was delicious!
We took Atlas for a walk
Dave took me for a ride on Nate's motorcycle. Thanks Nate now I have Dave looking up motorcycles online again. He is letting me know once he passes boards he will have a little more time on his hands and since we have only one car, he may need another form of transportation. Oh please, I don't think so dear.
Oh boy! Who's the cool guy!

My my my. Barbies. Ah memories. We loved playing Barbies for forever! I need to get mine from my mom's house, if she'll let me have them, so I can start playing with Abby. Have fun! There's a commercial with a little girl saying, "Mom wanna play Barbies," or something like that. Makes me want to cry.

Sounds like you had a great visit! Doug would totally follow in Dave's footsteps if I ever got on a motorcycle with him. =)

Looks like you guys had a fun time. Nice that you guys don't live too far from eachother. Shaun wants a motorcycle too, before Anna came along he almost had me convinced we 'needed' one, I don't think so!!

Who's the cool guy to the max! I'm not letting Dave read this post. I don't want him getting any ideas.

Although I'm still jealous you picked them over us for Thanksgiving- I'm glad you had a good time. And scored some sweet princess toys while you were at it.

ps. I didn't even know Alyssa had a baby!

Loves.

And how crazy, I totally knew Alyssa in high school, and I know Jay cause he was a patient at my dad's dental office (where I used to work) I didn't know they got married! Where have I been? Ya learn so much through blogs! Isn't it great?

So cool that you got to go visit everyone. That is always so much fun. I love that you got to go on a motorcycle ride. How fun!! So I hear that we get to hit the slopes together. I am sooo pumped. I tried to call you this week to see if you wanted to get together but you weren't home or busy I guess. Give me a ring a ding ding.

so it turned out great. SO STINKIN easy too! I just put chicken, soup, milk, and butter.. then we cooked brown bag rice and dumped it all on top of the rice. Andy will eat anything I cook and say "It's great" so who knows, I liked it, but I like easy mac so I'm not a really good judge. Next time you guys go to Lexington LET US KNOW!!!! We will totally drive down k> I need to meet the little punkin
